The liner MV Hondius, where an outbreak of hantavirus was detected, has begun to slowly move away from the port of Granadilla in Tenerife, UNN reports with reference to Sky News.
"Mission accomplished," says Mónica García, Spain's Minister of Health, as the ship begins its journey.
The vessel will head to Rotterdam in the Netherlands, where the remaining crew will disembark and the ship will be disinfected.
