Since the beginning of 2026, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has codified and authorized for use in the Defense Forces 413 unmanned aerial systems. This is a record figure, exceeding the results of similar periods in previous years. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, reports UNN.

"Bababoom, "Optoslon", "Kharyok", "Bilyi Vovk" – 413 new drones since the beginning of 2026. The Ministry of Defense has codified and authorized for use in the Defense Forces of Ukraine a record number of unmanned aerial systems since the start of the year," the post reads.
According to the ministry, this is 30% more than in the same period in 2025, and 73% more than in the same period in 2024.
"Among the codified UAS, the most are strike drones of the copter type, fiber-optic 'drones' and front-strike drones," the post reads.
