Journalist and soldier Andriy Nikitin was found dead in the village of Bashmachka, Dnipropetrovs'k region. This was reported by IMI, as well as by the sister of the deceased - Tatiana Latay, reports UNN.
"Andriy is no longer with us... I will announce the date and time of the funeral later... I thank all the dog handlers, police officers and all those who are not indifferent who joined the search..." the statement reads.
The circumstances of Nikitin's death are currently unknown.

Andrey Nikitin was searched for several days. His sister reportedthat on December 12, he left his parents and did not return or get in touch after that.
Andriy Nikitin worked for the Open TV channel and the Nashe Misto media holding. He joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the summer of 2024.
