On Thursday, March 14, explosives experts of the National Police and the expert service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received a new batch of humanitarian aid from the Federal Criminal Police Office of Germany . This was reported by the press service of the National Police of Ukraine, according to UNN.

The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Vasyl Teteria, Head of the National Police of Ukraine Ivan Vyhivskyi, and Charge d'Affaires of the Federal Republic of Germany in Ukraine Tim Prange.
During the transfer of equipment, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Vasyl Teteria noted that the support of German partners significantly helps Ukrainian law enforcement in demining and investigating war crimes committed by Russia.

The head of the National Police, Ivan Vyhivskyi, noted that the National Police's bomb squad is clearing Ukrainian territories every day and has already made 60,000 trips.
Explosive experts of the National Police have already inspected more than 33 thousand hectares of our territory and seized more than 280 thousand different types of ammunition and more than nine tons of explosives. During this time, we have received over 14 million euros worth of equipment for the National Police explosive experts alone
Police explosives experts received an underwater drone, 10 explosive suits with a set of equipment, 20 portable lighting systems, metal detectors, ballistic protection vests and a combined system for demining.
In addition, the State Research Forensic Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received three automatic DNA extraction stations, a genetic analyzer, thermostats, a freezer, six centrifuges, and additional equipment from the partners.
Our explosive experts work not only on the surface but also underwater. In order to get a better survey and spend less time, we will now use an underwater drone to inspect destroyed bridges and dams to detect ammunition and other items that pose a threat to the construction workers who will rebuild this infrastructure
According to him, the equipment will be transferred to explosive ordnance disposal units, primarily in the frontline regions. After all, this equipment is now essential for demining Ukrainian territories.
