However, the situation with electricity supply in the city remains complicated, with blackout schedules still in place. "After a massive enemy attack on critical infrastructure facilities, in almost 80% of Kharkiv power has already been restored," the city council said on social media.
The Ministry of Energy states that in Kharkiv region "the situation with electricity supply in Kharkiv remains difficult. Schedules and of hourly outages are being applied, 215.8 thousand consumers have no electricity.
According to Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov, the blackout schedules will remain unchanged for now. He noted that the absence of power outages is due to emergency shutdowns.
However, power engineers managed to restore power to the subway - the subway is running on all lines, with a 20-minute interval.
"It is not yet possible to run ground electric transport, but experts are working on this," the mayor said.
Igor Terekhov reminded that there are 74 "invincibility points" in Kharkiv working around the clock, where you can charge your gadgets, use the Internet, and drink hot drinks. Since Friday, about 35 thousand city residents have used their services.
The mayor also noted that despite the lack of electricity, the city continues to operate as planned.
According to the Ministry of Energy, 15,000 consumers in 62 settlements in the region are without power.
