In Chernivtsi region, rescuers found a man who had been wandering in the woods for almost 3 days, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported on Tuesday, UNN reports.

On December 17, rescuers received a report that a man born in 1997 had gotten lost in the village of Banyliv-Pidhirnyi.
"The victim spent almost 3 days in the forest, having lost his bearings. Despite the difficult conditions, he was able to provide the approximate coordinates of his location," the SES reported on social media.
Mountain rescuers with sniffer dogs and law enforcement officers went in search of the man. "Thanks to well-coordinated work, the team managed to find the missing man, provide him with first aid and transport him to doctors for further examination," the agency said.
