One of the largest external cyberattacks on Ukraine's state registries has occurred, leading to the temporary suspension of several key systems. This was reported by the Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine - Minister of Justice of Ukraine Olga Stefanishyna, reports UNN.

The attack targeted the Unified and State Registers, which are under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, the cyberattack was carried out by Russian hackers to disrupt the country's critical infrastructure. Specialists are now working in an intensified mode to gradually restore access to the registers.
The priority is to restore the work of the State Register of Civil Status Acts, the Unified State Register of Legal Entities and Individual Entrepreneurs, and the State Register of Rights to Real Estate and Their Encumbrances. The first stages of the restoration are expected to take up to two weeks.
It is noted that the functioning of other state resources is not at risk. After the systems are restored, a detailed analysis of the incident will be conducted to strengthen cyber defense in the future.
Citizens are urged to remain calm, as the situation is under control and information on the specifics of service provision will be provided in the near future.
