During a speech in The Hague, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba spoke about tangible results in restoring justice for Ukrainians in four areas, UNN reports citing Kuleba's post on social network X.
In his speech at the opening of the 57-country conference "Restoring Justice for Ukraine" in The Hague, Kuleba emphasized that Ukrainians need justice right now. Not in the distant future.
Ukrainians do not want to hear that justice will be restored. They want to see it now. Not only on the battlefield, but also in courtrooms, in real decisions. And they have the right to demand it
According to Kuleba, in this context, there are already tangible results in four areas:
1. The Register of Damages, which allows Ukrainians to request compensation for damage or destruction of residential real estate, has been launched and will be expanded.
2. The International Center for the Prosecution of the Crime of Aggression against Ukraine (ICPA) was established, and its prosecutors are currently investigating and preparing indictments for this crime.
3) The International Criminal Court has already issued the first four arrest warrants, including for Russian dictator Putin. According to Kuleba, Ukraine expects more to come.
4. The first decisions on the use of frozen Russian assets in the interests of Ukraine have already been made, and this work should bring even more results this year.
"More work needs to be done. However, the first steps show that justice for Russian aggression and further atrocities is inevitable," Kuleba summarized.
