Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba in an interview with Euronews Serbia urged Europe not to delay the accession process of Ukraine and other countries to the EU, UNN reports.
We urge the European Union not to repeat the mistake of delaying the accession process for all countries, not only for Ukraine, but for all candidate countries, including, of course, the Western Balkan states. It would be fair to say that it was Ukraine that brought the European Union out of its enlargement coma. If you look back two years ago, there was no serious discussion of enlargement in the European Union, and the negotiations on the accession of the Western Balkan countries were suspended

Kuleba noted that both Ukraine and Serbia are European countries. "We have our own national interests, but we are all Europeans," he emphasized. Therefore, speaking of joining the EU, we are talking about the extension of European rules and principles to the historical space.
Also during the interview, the minister mentioned the peace formula proposed by Ukraine as a way to end the war and recommended supporting it.
