Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko said that the prosecutor's office will choose a preventive measure for the suspect in the murder of public figure Iryna Farion today or tomorrow. He said this during a telethon, UNN reports.
"I think a preventive measure will be chosen today or tomorrow," Klymenko said.
He noted that there would be more information in a few hours.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that on July 25, an 18-year-old manwas detained in Dnipro city, allegedly involved in the premeditated murder of Iryna Farion.
According to Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko, law enforcement officers have enough evidence to claimthat it was an 18-year-old boy detained in Dnipro who shot at linguist Iryna Farion. According to him, the investigation lasted 139 hours.
The police reported earlier that they had several versions of the murder of linguist Irina Farion, including public, political activities and personal animosity. Law enforcement officers found a shell casing after the shooting and do not rule out a "Russian trace" in the crime.
