Ukrainian Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko sharply criticized the behavior of patrol police officers during the shooting in Kyiv on April 18. He stated this at a meeting with journalists, reports UNN.

According to the minister, the female patrol officer has been serving in the police since 2015, and her partner since 2025.

The way they behaved at that moment is a great shame. At the very least, they should have taken a position, brought their weapons to battle. Tried to stop the shooter by all means - up to immediate elimination

 - Klymenko stated.

He added that the internal investigation is ongoing.
