As the House of Representatives delays a decision on further large-scale assistance to Ukraine, the US administration will continue to look for ways to provide Ukrainians with emergency support, as it did last month. This was announced during a briefing by White House Advisor John Kirby, UNN reports.

"We have already introduced some emergency measures. You saw how the Pentagon was able to get $300 million to support them (Ukrainian forces - ed.) in an emergency assistance package. We will continue to look and see what else we can do," Kirby said.
At the same time, he emphasized that the US government still has its hands tied in this situation.
Kirby emphasized that we need a law with additional funding.
Asked if there is a "deadline" after which the government will start doing more to support Ukraine, Kirby said that this deadline came a long time ago when the president submitted a request to Congress with an aid package.
He also emphasized that due to the inaction of lawmakers in the House of Representatives, Ukrainian commanders on the ground are making difficult decisions on how to save ammunition and hold their positions.
