The Royal Family is being met by Ambassador Monica Crowley, Chief of Protocol of the United States, and the British Ambassador to the US, Christian Turner.
According to Sky News, Charles and Camilla were presented with a bouquet of flowers.
Before leaving the airfield by car, they stopped to listen to a military band playing the national anthems of Great Britain and the United States.
