Kiev residents received letters stating that explosive devices were allegedly planted in the capital and other cities and that there was a threat of "blowing up" objects, reports UNN.

The letter noted that a number of objects were allegedly mined, in particular, in Zhytomyr and Odessa - a shopping center, in Kiev - a school, a hotel, a TV channel. The pseudo-miner said that the first explosion allegedly occurred on Mashinostroitelnaya Street, 41.

However, the author of the email messed up the addresses, and the locations are indicated with errors.

The letter also claims that the author is allegedly a veteran of the Anti-Terrorist Operation.

There were no explosions in Kiev today.

Probably, this letter may be aimed at undermining the status of Ukrainian veterans and Russian propaganda.

UNN contacted the police and the SBU regarding this letter.
