Ukraine has updated the rules for international bus transportation, introducing more digital procedures, clearer deadlines for reviewing applications, and new approaches to organizing routes through the carrier's online portal. This was reported by the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine, according to UNN.
The key points are more digitalization, clearer procedures, and transparent rules for business
What is important to know:
- updated terms for opening, extending, or changing international routes;
- up to 30 days for application review via the online portal;
- up to 20 days to correct deficiencies in documents;
- approved information regarding "slots" at checkpoints for opening routes.
"We are continuing systematic work on the reform of international bus transportation. Last year, we launched the carrier's online portal for international routes for the first time. This tool has proven its effectiveness: over 400 routes were opened and extended through a digital and accessible procedure. At the same time, we see opportunities to improve the procedure so that the online portal and the process itself are as clear as possible to the carrier and meet European standards,"
