In Vinnytsia, ritual objects were stolen from the grave of a soldier - the youngest defender of "Azovstal" Nazariy Hryntsevych with the call sign "Grinka". A wooden mace and three candles disappeared. The police are investigating. This was reported by the GUNP in Vinnytsia region, writes UNN.

"On March 30, a resident of Vinnytsia contacted the police with a message that a wooden mace and three candles were stolen from the grave of her son, a soldier with the call sign "Grinka" (the youngest defender of "Azovstal" Nazariy Hryntsevych - ed.), at the "Sabariv-1" cemetery," the statement reads.

In social networks, Nazariy's mother, Marianna Hryntsevych, said that the stolen candles were expensive, and the mace was brought from Transcarpathia.

On this fact, investigators opened a criminal proceeding under Part 2 of Art. 297 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Desecration of a grave, other place of burial or the body of the deceased) and are establishing the persons involved in the criminal offense. The sanction of the article provides for up to five years of imprisonment.

Last year, a toy was stolen from the grave of the youngest defender of "Azovstal".
