The Solotvyno-Sighetu-Marmaciei checkpoint on the border with Romania will partially suspend the passage of vehicles. The suspension of the checkpoint is due to the emergency condition of the bridge over the Tisa River, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported on Friday, UNN reports.
According to the Romanian side, due to the emergency state of the bridge structure over the Tisza River and in order to carry out work on its restoration, the passage of vehicles will be suspended from 09:00 to 15:30, from Monday to Friday
It is noted that pedestrian traffic at this checkpoint will not be stopped.
It is expected that the suspension of access due to repair works will last for 35 days, starting from November 22, 2024.
