In the Kherson region, the list of territories where mandatory evacuation of the population is in effect has been expanded due to intensified enemy shelling. The corresponding decision was made during a meeting of the Regional Defense Council. This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, writes UNN.
First, they analyzed the results of the mobilization campaign and the work of the Military Medical Commission in the region. They listened to representatives of the regional Territorial Recruitment Center and Social Support, the National Police, and the Health Department, and coordinated further actions
The mandatory evacuation zone includes:
- the settlements of the Khreshchenivka Starosta District
- the village of Charivne;
- the settlement of Zelenivka;
- the "Tekstylnyi" microdistrict
- and certain streets of the Central, Korabelnyi, and Dnipro districts of Kherson, including Universytetska, Teatralna, Biloruska, and Komunalna streets, as well as streets and lanes located in the direction of the Koshova and Dnipro rivers.
In addition, entry for families with children will be prohibited in these territories due to the high level of danger.
They also decided to purchase mobile shelters for installation on the most dangerous sections of roads, as well as protective equipment for critical infrastructure.
Furthermore, during the meeting, funds were allocated for the repair of a shelter in one of the educational institutions and the reconstruction of equipment in a hospital.
Separately, members of the Defense Council considered the issue of public transport safety. Due to the threat of Russian attacks, part of the suburban routes are planned to be reduced, and bus traffic patterns will be changed taking into account the security situation.
