On April 26, a shooting occurred at one of the central metro stations in Kharkiv. A man in a state of alcohol intoxication opened fire with a pistol. This was reported by the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, according to UNN.
According to preliminary data, on April 26, at around 9:10 p.m. at the "Istorychnyi Muzei" metro station, a 20-year-old man, while intoxicated, fired one shot into the air from a blank pistol,
No one was injured as a result of the incident. No damage to infrastructure was recorded either.
The prosecutor's office added that the collection of materials is currently ongoing and all circumstances of the event are being established.
"The preliminary legal classification is hooliganism (Art. 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Procedural oversight will be carried out by the Slobidskyi District Prosecutor's Office of Kharkiv," the post reads.
