The day before, it became known that Russian security forces conducted a search at Lunin's house and seized computer equipment, information storage media, and other items.
On June 25, the former military man published a video address to Putin, in which he demanded a personal meeting to, in his words, tell "the whole truth" about the situation in Russia.
In his address, Lunin also stated that if the meeting were refused, "the army will turn its weapons against the Kremlin." After that, the court sentenced him to 11 days of administrative arrest.
