In the Polish city of Kozuchow on the evening of August 1, an attack occurred in which three Ukrainian citizens were injured. The incident is being investigated by the police, reports UNN with reference to inPoland.

According to media interlocutors, the incident occurred around 21:25 on the territory of a hostel where Ukrainians live. According to them, the hostel is predominantly inhabited by Ukrainian citizens. That evening, three Ukrainians were relaxing near a parked car — 37-year-old Volodymyr, 32-year-old Vasyl, and 28-year-old Adelina. According to them, various music was playing in the car — Ukrainian, Polish, and foreign.
As Vasyl told inPoland, a man was passing by the group and noticed the music. According to the interlocutor, a verbal argument arose between him and Volodymyr.
"Volodya said that the man shouted: 'Get the hell out to Ukraine' and made complaints about the music. Volodymyr replied that this is private territory where we live," Vasyl said.
According to him, after that the man said: "If you want a fight, it will happen now," after which he immediately called someone.
A few minutes later, as the victims claim, two young men approached from the direction of the station, and a girl was behind them. Later, according to Vasyl, the attackers returned in a group of three and, without a word, began to beat the Ukrainians.
"Adelina's head was broken. Volodya's head was also broken, his lip was split. I got less because I tried to shield myself from the blows," the man said.
He also noted that he did not see what exactly the attackers used to strike.

Adelina told inPoland that she did not take part in the verbal argument.
"I was standing near the car and was on the phone. I saw that some aggressive man was saying something and calling someone. Then I looked up and saw three people walking towards us. I didn't say anything at all — and immediately got a blow to the head. After that, blood started flowing," the woman recalls.
According to her, in shock, she began to call the police.
"My head hurts a lot, a large hematoma. It seems to me that it was not a punch, but what exactly hit me — I don't know. This is just my assumption," the victim noted.
Adelina also said that the music was playing on the private territory of the hostel where Ukrainians live. According to her, the group was relaxing there just as before, and there were no complaints about loud music from neighbors or other residents of the hostel.
According to the victims, the police arrived about five minutes after the call. An ambulance team arrived almost simultaneously. One of the victims was hospitalized.
On August 2, the victims gave testimony to the police. They told inPoland that law enforcement officers photographed the injuries and prepared case materials. At the time of the conversation with the editorial office, Volodymyr was still at the police station giving testimony.
The victims also informed investigators about a private surveillance camera installed on a neighboring building, which, according to them, could have recorded the moment of the attack. Only law enforcement agencies can obtain the recordings.
At the time of publication, the police had not officially reported the circumstances of the incident, its possible motives, or information about the detention of those involved.
