In the Dnipropetrovsk region, a 46-year-old man has been notified of suspicion for committing lewd acts against a 13-year-old boy and distributing pornographic materials. The court ordered a preventive measure in the form of detention without the right to bail. This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General, according to UNN.
The head of the Samarivka District Prosecutor's Office, acting as the lead of the prosecutorial group in the specified criminal proceedings, notified a 46-year-old local resident of suspicion regarding the commission of lewd acts against a minor and the distribution of pornographic materials
According to the investigation, the suspect lived in a neighboring house and was acquainted with the 13-year-old victim.
Through one of the messaging apps, using psychological manipulation, he engaged in conversations on sexual topics and attempted to induce the child into lewd acts over the phone and during personal meetings.
In addition, he sent the child his own pornographic photos.
The victim's parents immediately contacted law enforcement authorities after discovering the relevant correspondence.
At the request of the head of the district prosecutor's office, the court selected a preventive measure in the form of detention without the right to bail.
