Last year, Ukrainians became the most active foreign investors in the housing market in Poland. In particular, about half of the apartments bought by foreigners were purchased by people from Ukraine. This was reported by UNN with reference to ukrayina.pl.

Details

In total, foreigners purchased more than 14 thousand apartments, of which 7.7 thousand were transferred to Ukrainians. This is 10% more than in 2022.

Among the properties acquired by Ukrainians, 7.1 thousand were residential premises, while the rest were divided between garages and commercial real estate.

Analysts note that compared to other foreigners, Ukrainians prefer to buy smaller apartments.

The average size of an apartment purchased by Ukrainians (no more than 54 square meters) is lower than the average size of an apartment purchased by all foreigners (58 square meters)

," explained real estate expert Bartosz Turek.

The publication noted that the most popular places for buying real estate among foreigners were Warsaw, where 2.9 thousand apartments were purchased, as well as such large cities as Krakow, Łódź, Poznan, Gdansk and Szczecin.
