During the conversation, journalists asked the politician about his foreign policy plans after winning the elections. In response, Magyar confirmed that he does not rule out personal contacts with the Kremlin.

I would sit down for negotiations with Vladimir Putin if the situation arises

— he stated.

At the same time, Magyar focused primarily on the domestic political situation in the country and stated that the Fidesz party, led by Viktor Orbán, had lost its chances of retaining power.

According to him, even possible irregularities will not allow changing the final outcome of the vote.

It is obvious that they will try to cheat, but it will not be on such a large scale as to overcome such a difference

— Magyar noted.

He also announced that his team already has candidates for the heads of all ministries and is preparing to form a new government.

The victory of the Tisza party could mean the end of Orbán's long-standing rule and a change in Hungary's political course in relations with the European Union and its neighbors.
