The head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people warns of a possible new wave of forced mobilization of Crimeans, including Crimean Tatars, into the Russian army to participate in the war against Ukraine.

The head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, Refat Chubarov, does not rule out a new wave of mobilization of Crimeans to the Russian army, including Crimean Tatars. He wrote about this in his Telegram channel, referring to the information he received about the meeting of the head of the Russian-controlled Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Crimea and Sevastopol Emirali Ablaev with the Russian Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Crimea Igor Ilarionov, reports UNN.

According to Chubarov, during the meeting, Ablaev committed himself to "facilitate the involvement of Crimean Tatars in the Russian war against Ukraine.

"During the meeting, which was not covered by the media, the issue of increasing the mobilization of men of military age living in the occupied Crimea to the Russian army was discussed... It is known that Emirali Ablaev committed himself to organizing events that, according to his assurances, "will help attract Crimean Tatars to participate in a special military operation," Chubarov wrote.
