The head of the Kharkiv regional council is suspected of failing to indicate a number of information in her declaration. This was revealed as a result of a full inspection conducted by the NACP , reports UNN.

According to experts from the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption, the current head of the Kharkiv Regional Council did not indicate in her declaration information about real estate in Nice, France, which may be worth 88 thousand euros (equivalent to more than UAH 2.7 million), used (leased) by her husband.
In addition, a full audit revealed signs of overstatement of the amount of cash in the official's declaration by more than UAH 680 thousand. The inspectors questioned the fact that her husband received income from the sale of corporate rights to Le Folie's (a restaurant business in France) in the amount of only EUR 500.
Also, the official did not indicate in the declaration the information about the determination of her husband as the ultimate beneficial owner of a legal entity registered under the laws of France, SAS Midi au Soleil (restaurant on the waterfront of Cannes, France).

Based on the results of a full inspection of the declaration of the head of the Kharkiv Regional Council, signs of declaring false information worth more than UAH 3.4 million were found.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated (according to part one of Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and may not be subjected to criminal punishment until his or her guilt is proved in accordance with the law).
