Olena Duma, the head of the ARMA, explained that she had seen information about Viktor Polishchuk's ties to the “Kremlin elite” in the media. Polishchuk filed a lawsuit to protect his honor and dignity, denying the allegations.

The head of the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA), Olena Duma, accused Ukrainian businessman Viktor Polishchuk and his wife of having ties to the Kremlin elite after seeing such information in the media. This is stated in the response of the head of the agency to the request of UNN.

We would like to inform you that the information about the ties between Polischuk and his wife and the Kremlin elite is not a secret to the public and has been published on various web resources and social networks,

- the response reads.

As an example, Olena Duma cited articles on Radio Liberty, Forbes.ua, Espreso.tv, and Politeka.net.

In the event of claims on this basis, the first step is to look at the source and origin of the information,

- said the Head of ARMA.

Context

Earlier it became known that businessman Viktor Polishchuk filed a lawsuit against ARMA to protect his honor, dignity and business reputation with the Shevchenkivskyi District Court.

In a commentary to UNN, Viktor Polishchuk explainedthat he was forced to go to court because of the statement by the head of the ARMA, Olena Duma, that he and his wife had "close relations with the Kremlin elite". He stated that this information was fictitious and untrue.

In early June, the Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Kyiv granted the Prosecutor General's Office's motion and allowed the transfer of the Gulliver complex to the ARMA. However, representatives of Gulliver statethat this decision grossly violates procedural and substantive law and actually means a business takeover with the assistance of law enforcement and security agencies.

It is not yet clear how this situation will develop further, as representatives of the company that owns the complex are arguing in court that this decision is groundless and illegal.
