Ukrainian troops withstood 67 combat engagements on Thursday. In particular, 24 Russian attacks were successfully repelled in the Novopavlivka sector. This section of the frontline has been consistently the hottest over the past month. The current situation on the battlefield was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, UNN reports.
Over the last day, 67 combat engagements were registered. In total, the enemy launched 36 missile and 50 air strikes, fired 96 times from multiple launch rocket systems at Ukrainian troops' positions and localities.

In the Kupyansk sector, Russians made one unsuccessful attempt to assault near the village of Synkivka, Kharkiv region. It is noted that the occupiers were attacking with the support of aviation, but this did not change the situation on the battlefield, the Russians failed.
In the Lyman sector, our defenders repelled 10 enemy attacks. Under air cover, Russian troops tried to break through the defense of our troops near Bilohorivka in Luhansk region, as well as Terny, Spirne, Vesele and Rozdolivka in Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled the enemy 14 times. According to the General Staff, the Russians once again attacked near Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchyivka and Andriivka in Donetsk region, and once again did not take any new military heights.
In the Avdiivka sector, our defenders repelled four militants' attacks near Berdychiv, Semenivka, Tonenke and Pervomayske in Donetsk region.
In the Novopavlivka sector, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Novomykhailivka, Vodiane and Urozhayne. Here, the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried to break through the defense of our troops 24 times over the past day.
In the Orikhivsk sector, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions near Staromayorske in Donetsk region and Robotyne in Zaporizhzhia 6 times with the support of air power.
