There were 114 combat engagements in the frontline over the last day, most of them in the Pokrovsk sector. The defense forces destroyed enemy air defense and electronic warfare systems, other equipment and occupants. According to the updated information, over the past day, the enemy launched three missile attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas, using four missiles, 64 air strikes (a total of 97 missile launchers), used 1168 kamikaze drones to destroy them, and fired 4758 times, 79 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems.
Yesterday, the aviation and missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces, as indicated, hit two control points, an ammunition depot, an air defense facility, three artillery systems, an electronic warfare station and six areas of concentration of enemy personnel.
The situation is reportedly as follows:
A total of ten combat engagements took place in the Kharkiv sector. The fighting took place near Vovchansk and Hlyboke. The enemy was actively using aviation for support.
In the Kupyansk sector, the number of attacks stopped at three yesterday. Defense forces repelled enemy assaults near Pishchane in Kharkiv region and Stelmakhivka in Luhansk region.
In the Lyman sector, our troops repelled nine occupants' attacks in the vicinity of Hrekivka and Makiivka, Luhansk region.
In the Siverskiy sector, Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 11 assaults near Spirne, Bilohorivka, Rozdolivka and Vyymka in Donetsk region.
In the Kramatorsk sector, Ukrainian Armed Forces stopped six enemy attempts to break through the defense in the areas of Hryhorivka, Ivanivske, Andriivka and Chasovyi Yar in Donetsk region.
In the Toretsk sector, the enemy carried out 20 attacks. He concentrated his efforts towards New York, Northern and Zalizne. He supported his actions with bomber strikes.
In the Pokrovske sector, our defenders repelled 41 assault attacks in the areas of Novooleksandrivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Prohres, Novoselivka Persha and Yasnobrodivka in Donetsk region, where the aggressor, with the support of aviation, tried to force our units out of their positions.
In the Kurakhove sector, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Paraskoviivka, Karlivka and Kostiantynivka, where the enemy tried to seize our fortifications eight times.
In the Vremivsky sector, the aggressor made two unsuccessful assaults near Vodyane and Kostyantynivka in Donetsk region. He fired three times with multiple rocket launchers in the area of Velyka Novosilka.
In the Orikhiv and Huliaypillia sectors, the occupants did not conduct any active offensives yesterday.
On the Prydniprovsky direction, our troops repelled two enemy attacks in the Krynok area, the enemy was not successful.
In the Volyn and Polissya sectors, the operational situation remained unchanged. No signs of the formation of offensive groups of occupants were detected.
On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy continues sabotage and reconnaissance activities, shelling settlements from the territory of the Russian Federation, and increasing the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine.
"At the same time, our soldiers are exhausting the enemy along the entire combat line and in the rear," the General Staff said.
