France will enter the new year with the same principle of calculating taxes and expenditures as was set out in the 2024 budget - until the political crisis is overcome and the parliament adopts a new budget.
In the lower house, 481 deputies supported the bill, 63 abstained, and no votes were cast against it. By Wednesday, the Senate is to give its approval to the temporary measures.
