Former Ukrainian law enforcement officer is suspected of issuing Russian passports in Kupyansk

Prosecutors have served a notice of suspicion to a former law enforcement officer of the Investigation Department of the Kupiansk District Police Department in Kharkiv region, who was issuing passports to people of the aggressor state. This was reported by the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, according to UNN.

Under the procedural supervision of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, the former police officer was served a notice of suspicion in absentia on the fact of high treason committed under martial law (Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine),

It is noted that the suspect is a former inspector of the Investigation Department of the Kupyansk District Police Department of the Main Department of the National Police in Kharkiv region.

The pre-trial investigation established that while the city of Kupiansk was under the control of the Russian army, she deliberately went over to the enemy. The suspect took the position of "acting senior inspector of the migration service department" in a pseudo-law enforcement agency under the occupiers.

The traitor campaigned among the local population about the need to accept Russian citizenship and obtain Russian passports. She was also directly involved in issuing passports of the aggressor state to people. In addition, she managed to obtain a Russian passport herself.

Later, the occupiers promoted the woman and appointed her to the position of "deputy head of the department for migration". The suspect betrayed her oath for a salary of 50 thousand Russian rubles per month.

Currently, the suspect is in the territory of the aggressor state, the issue of putting her on the wanted list is being decided.
