No chemicals were released into the air after the attack on an industrial facility in Ternopil. Environmental damage was caused only by the release of oil combustion products, the head of the regional State Emergency Service said.

The strike on the industrial facility in Ternopil did not release any chemicals into the air. The damage caused to the environment is related to the release of combustion products and oil products into the air. This was stated by the head of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Ternopil region Viktor Masley during a briefing, UNN reports.

Details

“As a rule, the damage caused to the environment is associated with the release of combustion products and oil products into the air. No chemicals were stored at the facility. No chemical compounds were released into the air. These are exclusively combustion products of oil products,” said Masley.
