The Favbet Foundation became one of the leaders in the Corporate Charity Fund nomination of the nationwide competition. According to the results of the readers' and expert jury's voting, the foundation's social project "Superheroes Club" won.
The winners were awarded in November during the annual PR marathon of the national MMR magazine, which this time was dedicated to effective communications during the war.
With the outbreak of full-scale war, Favbet Foundation refocused more than 90% of its projects to help the Armed Forces. Subsequently, assistance to the Ukrainian army was transformed into the systematic work of a military hub, and humanitarian areas were adapted to the requirements of martial law. Among them is the Superheroes Club, a program for the cultural and sports development of children who have been affected by the war.
"Ukrainian children are persistent and talented. Even the war has not deprived them of their desire for development and self-realization. Our goal is to give young Ukrainian children more opportunities to discover their superpowers despite the war. They are the future of the new Ukraine, and we have to do everything possible to make them happy," says Yevhen Bondar, project curator at Favbet Foundation.
The Superheroes Club was implemented to support children and adolescents from families of military personnel and IDPs. "The Club united three projects at once: "IT Kids, Strength in Knowledge, and Stronger Together. In 2023, as part of these initiatives, the foundation's team conducted a series of courses on the basics of programming, sent 5,500 boxes of stationery to schoolchildren, and launched free sports sections for boxing, football, wrestling, and basketball.
"The best reputation is the one that is formed not by words, but by real deeds. The foundation's team has done a huge amount of work: "The Superheroes Club has reached thousands of children across Ukraine. These projects have deservedly attracted a lot of attention and have become a good example of effective interaction between business and the public through overcoming common challenges," comments Ksenia Tyurikova, Communications Director at FAVBET.
In addition, Favbet Foundation continues its important mission - with the support of the foundation, systematic assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine is provided. Thus, 240 vehicles have been delivered to the frontline so far, and this number is growing every day. Also, with the assistance of the Favbet Foundation, the Ukrainian Armed Forces received more than 130 drones of various types, including a strike drone. Earlier , the strike companies of the "Army of Drones" received 53 new Peugeot Landtrek SUVs from Favbet. In total, the total assistance to the Armed Forces and other defense forces with the support of the fund amounted to more than UAH 175 million.
