The sound of an explosion was heard in the Poltava community, UNN reports with reference to Suspilne.
Earlier, the Air Force reported high-speed targets from Kharkiv to Poltava region.
"Poltava - stay in shelters! Missiles in your direction!" the Air Force added.
Monitoring channels also reported explosions in Poltava region.
City and regional authorities have not yet commented on the explosions.
