Former Deputy Minister of Energy Oleksandr Hale, who was caught taking bribes, was sent to custody. The court made a similar decision regarding two of his associates. This was stated by the SAPO, reports UNN.

The agency said that the HACC investigating judge upheld the position of the SAPO prosecutor and imposed preventive measures on the Deputy Minister of Energy, his confidant, and the head of an energy company from Mykolaiv region.
All of them were detained for receiving undue benefit for granting permission to export mining equipment from the frontline area, the Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine was exposed.
The court partially granted the motion of the NABU detectives, which was approved by the SAPO prosecutor, and applied it:
- a measure of restraint in the form of detention with an alternative of UAH 25 million bail was imposed on the Deputy Minister of Energy;
- to the authorized representative of the Deputy Minister - custody with an alternative of UAH 65 million bail;
- to the head of the energy company - custody with bail in the amount of UAH 7 million.
If bail is granted, these suspects will be subject to appropriate procedural obligations, in particular:
- to appear at every request of the detective, prosecutor and court;
- not to leave the designated areas without the permission of the investigator, prosecutor and court;
- notify the investigator, prosecutor or court of a change of residence;
- refrain from communicating with other suspects in the case and witnesses;
- to deposit their passports for traveling abroad with the relevant state authorities;
- wear an electronic control device.

The NABU and SAPO reportedthat Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine Oleksandr Heilo and three of his accomplices were caught receiving a half-million dollar bribe for granting permission to export mining equipment from the frontline area.
The official of the Ministry of Energy and his accomplices were detained red-handed. Their actions are classified as a crime under Part 4 Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
In this regard, the Cabinet of Ministers dismissed Oleksandr Hale from the post of Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine.
