"Electricity consumption shows a downward trend. The reason is cloudless weather in all regions of Ukraine, except for parts of the eastern regions. This leads to efficient operation of household solar power plants and a corresponding decrease in energy consumption from the general grid," the statement said.
As indicated, today, March 21, as of 9:30, the level of consumption was 2.2% lower than at the same time the previous day - on Thursday.
"It is advisable to use powerful electrical appliances today during the period of the most efficient operation of solar power plants - from 10:00 to 16:00. If possible, take this into account in your plans for the day," Ukrenergo noted.
Currently, as indicated, the Ukrainian energy system continues to recover from Russian massive missile and drone attacks. Emergency recovery works at energy facilities are ongoing.
"The situation in the energy system may change," the company noted.
