A man who was brandishing an axe in the middle of the street and trying to take a scooter from a teenager was detained in Kyiv, the Kyiv police reported on Thursday, writes UNN.

"A 30-year-old Kyiv resident, being intoxicated, decided to ride a moped belonging to a minor boy," the report says.
According to the police, despite the teenager's objections, the man "took a grinder from the trunk of his car and tried to cut the chain with it, with which the two-wheeler was attached to the building."
"When he failed to seize the scooter in this way, the enraged man grabbed an axe and, loudly swearing, began to hit trees and metal poles with it, which greatly frightened passers-by," the police said.
The police detained the brawler and informed him of suspicion of hooliganism.
