The pre-trial investigation against 11 members of a criminal group who supplied drugs and psychotropic substances from the European Union and sold them on the territory of Ukraine has been completed. The drug group operated on the territory of the Kiev, Dnipropetrovsk and Mykolaiv regions, writes UNN with reference to the National Police of Ukraine.

The defendants ensured the functioning of an extensive distribution center, whose employees sold substances prohibited for circulation through Telegram channels.
Such activities brought them income in the amount of more than 135 million hryvnias.
Law enforcement officers found that two of the defendants, who lived abroad, under the guise of household appliances, sent drug products using international mail.
Then, their accomplices from Ukraine received these errors and sold products in bulk to a trusted circle of people. Also, the attackers transferred narcotic drugs and Psychotropic Substances by mail throughout Ukraine.
In entertainment venues, the "from hand to hand"method was used. payment for such goods was made only in cryptocurrency. Police conducted 58 simultaneous searches in the territory of the Kiev, Dnipropetrovsk and Mykolaiv regions. Therefore, prohibited substances worth more than five million hryvnias were seized.
The defendants were charged under six articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. For the crime committed, the attackers face up to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property.
