Women are not restricted in their right to cross the border. Border guards do not check women to update their data in the TCR. This was stated by the spokesman for the State Border Guard Service, Andriy Demchenko, during a telethon on Monday, a correspondent of UNN reports.
Regarding the category of women, I would like to reiterate that the restrictions at the border apply only to male citizens of Ukraine aged 18 to 60. Other categories, women, young men, are not restricted in their right to cross the border
When asked if it was correct that border guards would not stop women to check their data in the TCR, Demchenko replied: "That's right. If there are restrictions on other categories of citizens, the State Border Guard Service will definitely indicate this.
Addendum
Starting from May 18, 2024, all women liable for military service aged 18-60 must update their registration with the TCR, but women's mobilization is voluntary.
Women face a fine of UAH 17,000 to 25,500 for violating the rules of military registration.
Women in a number of medical specialties are required to register for military service.
In April 2024, it was reported that the Ukrainian authorities are not currently considering the issue of mobilizing women into the ranks of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
