The head of the subcontractor organization is suspected of embezzling several million hryvnias from the budget during the construction of the Podilsky bridge in Kiev. This was stated in the Office of the prosecutor general, reports UNN.

Investigators found out that the general contractor for the construction of the Podolsk bridge in 2020 entered false data on the volume and cost of underwater work performed by the subcontractor.
We are talking about work on cleaning metal structures from fouling at a depth of 12-20 meters with the involvement of a diving station. More than UAH 6 million was transferred to the subcontractor for these works.
