The Bulgarian Ministry analyzed the wreckage of a drone that exploded near a compressor station of the Trans-Balkan gas pipeline and concluded that the UAV could have been Ukrainian. The Bulgarian defense ministry’s statement is cited by BNR, reports UNN.

In particular, the ministry noted that a preliminary analysis of the wreckage indicates that it was most likely a "Maya" decoy drone.
Drones of this type are widely used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Bulgaria’s Ministry of Defense added.
"There are currently no grounds to believe that the incident was intentional," the ministry emphasized.
