Singer DARA brought Bulgaria its first-ever victory at Eurovision 2026. Ukrainian artist Leleka entered the top ten and took ninth place.

For the first time in history, Bulgaria has become the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026, represented by DARA with the song "Bangaranga." The final of the contest took place on Saturday evening, and Ukraine's representative, Leleka, finished in ninth place. This was reported by UNN.

The Ukrainian performer presented the song "Ridnym," with which she managed to break into the top ten participants of the contest.

According to the results of the professional jury voting, Ukraine received 54 points.

Points from viewers voting worldwide significantly helped the Ukrainian singer improve her final result.

In the end, Leleka took ninth place in the final Eurovision 2026 standings.

For Bulgaria, this victory was the first in the entire history of the country's participation in Eurovision.

According to the rules, the next Eurovision Song Contest in 2027 is to be hosted by Bulgaria.

Bulgaria's representative Dara, with the song "Bangaranga," scored 516 points and became the leader both in the national jury voting results and in terms of audience support. Second place went to Israel, which received 343 points, mainly due to the televote. Great Britain finished last in the final standings – the country received only one point from the Ukrainian national jury.
