The UK government has announced the allocation of 4.5 million pounds to document, investigate and prosecute war crimes committed during the Russian invasion. The statement was posted on the British government's website, UNN reports.
"As government support continues into 2025, today (Sunday) £4.5 million has been announced to support Ukraine's efforts to seek justice for war crimes committed during Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
The funding is intended to support the documentation, investigation and prosecution of war crimes in Ukraine and complements the UK's work with US and EU partners through the War Crimes Investigation Advisory Group," the British Government said in a statement.
The UK has already provided over 400 different types of military assistance to Ukraine. The most recent deliveries include the first 100 of 650 light multipurpose missiles announced in September and modern maritime equipment.
