Ben Gurion Airport in the south of the Israeli capital is preparing for a full resumption of operations on the night of April 9. This was reported by the Israel Airports Authority, according to UNN.
In accordance with the instructions of the Minister of Transport and after the announcement of the truce, the Airports Authority and the Civil Aviation Authority are working to fully restore operations at Ben Gurion Airport, starting at midnight.
It is noted that at this stage, immediate relief measures are being introduced, in accordance with the policy of the Ministry of Transport and taking into account the instructions of the security authorities, in order to ensure a safe return to normal operation.
Tomorrow morning, Herzliya Airport will resume operations, and on Sunday, Ramon Airport. The issue of resuming flights from Haifa Airport will be considered at the end of the week, depending on the assessment of the situation. Foreign airlines and leading regulatory bodies have been sent an official notification about the return to normal operation of Ben Gurion Airport.
In addition, it is reported that duty-free shops and related services in the terminal will also be open.
