Blackout schedules are in effect throughout the day amid shortages, with emergency aid from the EU the day before and significant imports planned for today. Details
Due to massive Russian shelling, the power system is reportedly experiencing a capacity shortage. Yesterday, to partially cover it, Ukraine additionally attracted emergency assistance from the power systems of Poland and Slovakia.
"Today, the schedules of hourly power outages are applied from 0:00 to 24:00," the Ministry of Energy said, urging consumers to consume electricity responsibly.
The ministry cited enemy attacks on energy infrastructure and the negative consequences of these attacks as the main reason for the restrictions.
Shelling
In the Chernihiv region, a "Shahed" attack on one of the energy facilities resulted in a power outage for household consumers and agricultural enterprises. At the same time, almost 6,000 subscribers lost power.
In Kharkiv region, an overhead line of a power company was disconnected during the shelling. As a result, the substation and the household consumers connected to it lost power. Everyone has been supplied with electricity.

A 40-year-old mining foreman was killed at a mine in Kirovohrad Oblast due to a rock fall.
Bad weather
Due to the bad weather, 58 settlements are without power. Of these, 48 are in Khmelnytsky Oblast and 10 in Ternopil Oblast.
De-energization
In the Zhytomyr region, an overhead power line of a regional power company was disconnected due to damage to equipment at one of the substations. This caused disruptions in train traffic. The overhead line was put back into operation.
In Vinnytsia region, an overhead line was disconnected for technological reasons, and household consumers lost power. Everyone was supplied with power.
An overhead line of a regional power company was disconnected in Dnipropetrovska oblast. At the same time, one of the power generation facilities briefly reduced its output.
Situation at ZNPP
"The water level in the cooling pond has slightly decreased and is 15.05 meters. This is enough to meet the needs of the plant," the Ministry of Energy said.
Import and export
For the current day, electricity imports are forecast at 35,212 MWh. No exports are expected.
