Information about a criminal offense on the fact of illegal fishing with a total weight of 68.5 kg was entered. In the context of violation of fishing rules, data on such fish species as common pike perch, perch, flatheads and others are indicated, UNN reports with reference to the press service of the State Ecological Inspectorate of Ukraine.

Inspectors of the Environmental Service seized over 68 kg of fish at the site of illegal fishing. According to the State Inspectorate's report, the violators caused UAH 675 ,852 in damages.
The agency reports the following information:
The link fisherman was fishing commercially, using 8 more nets than allowed.
As a result, fish with a total weight of 68.5 kg were caught, namely:
- common pike perch - 49 specimens,
- Bream - 11 specimens,
- silver crucian carp - 8 specimens,
- Common perch - 3 specimens,
- common gossip - 15 copies,
- flatware - 279 copies.
Officers of the Vyshhorod Department of the National Police in Kyiv Oblast were called to the scene. A gross violation of fishing rules at the Kyiv Reservoir was recorded.
The environmental inspectors remind that the above actions violated subparagraph 12 of paragraph 2 of Section III of the Rules for Industrial Fishing in Inland Fisheries Water Bodies, approved by Order of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy No. 785 dated 10.04.2023, as well as Article 63 of the Law of Ukraine “On Wildlife”.
Currently, information about the criminal offense has been registered.
