Nearly a quarter of the 256 battles on the front over the past day occurred in two directions - Pokrovsk and Sloviansk, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in its morning update on July 1, showing a map of hostilities, writes UNN.
In total, 256 combat engagements were recorded over the past day
Yesterday, the enemy carried out one missile strike, using one missile, conducted 81 airstrikes, dropping 246 guided aerial bombs. In addition, it used 9,801 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,083 shellings of populated areas and positions of our troops, including 47 from multiple launch rocket systems.
Over the past day, aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces struck five areas of concentration of personnel, five artillery systems, one warehouse, six UAV control points, and one other important enemy target.
Situation by directions
In the North-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, six combat engagements with the enemy took place over the past day; the aggressor carried out three airstrikes, dropping five aerial bombs, and conducted 65 shellings of our troops' positions and populated areas, including two using multiple launch rocket systems.
In the South-Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our units 12 times towards Mala Vovcha, Khatnie, Zarubynka, Sheviakivka, and in the areas of Starytsia, Lyman, Vovchanski Khutory, and Artilne.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attacked five times in the areas of the settlements of Kolisnykivka, Borivska Andriivka, and towards Petropavlivka and Kivsharivka.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy tried to break into our defense 14 times, attacking towards the settlements of Stavky, Lyman, Ozerne, Borova, Novoselivka, Drobysheve, Dibrova, and Yampil.
In the Sloviansk direction, the enemy stormed 27 times, towards the settlements of Kryva Luka, Ozerne, Rai-Oleksandrivka, and in the areas of Riznykivka and Kalenyky.
In the Kramatorsk direction, one combat engagement occurred in the area of Malynivka.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 23 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Ivanopillia, Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Stepanivka, and Sofiivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 31 assault actions by the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Hryshyne, Novomykolaivka, Nikanorivka, Novooleksandrivka, Shevchenko, Udachne, Kotlyne, and towards Serhiivka and Bilytske.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, our defenders stopped four enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Piddubne, Ternove, and Kalynivske.
In the Huliaipole direction, the occupiers carried out 23 attacks towards the settlements of Kosivtseve, Dobropillia, Hirke, Vozdvyzhivka, Staroukrainka, Tsvitkove, and Charivne.
In the Orikhiv and Prydniprovskyi directions, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions.
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected.
