Actor and director Alexander Shirvindt has died in a Moscow hospital at the age of 89, UNN reports citing TASS.
In 2000-2021, Shirvindt was the artistic director of the Russian Satire Theater, and in 2021 he became the president of the theater.
According to the Telegram channel Mash, the preliminary cause of death of Oleksandr Shyrvindt was heart problems.
According to Mash, in 2019, Schirwindt underwent surgery and was fitted with a pacemaker. In 2020, he suffered from pneumonia against the background of covid, and in the summer of 2022, doctors diagnosed the actor with angina pectoris.
