In Zakarpattia, border guards detained six smugglers who were trying to cross the Hungarian border. The smuggler received at least $15,000 from each man, UNN reports, citing the State Border Guard Service.
Details
For 15 thousand dollars, the smuggler helped the fugitives escape abroad. The adventure was to cross the Tisa River on a rubber boat. However, they failed to reach the other side: 20 meters before the state border, the "boatmen" were stopped by a border patrol. The three tried to escape, but sniffer dogs prevented them from doing so.
Administrative reports were drawn up against the detainees. The full range of those involved is being established.
