Over the past day, Ukraine's defense forces destroyed about 300 Russian drones over the territory of the Sumy region. At the same time, Russian troops continue massive drone attacks on the region's communities. This was reported by the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov, on his Telegram channel, according to UNN.

Hryhorov emphasized that despite the significant number of downed drones, Russian attacks do not stop. According to him, hits on civilian infrastructure have been recorded in the region.

The Regional Military Administration urged residents of the region to stay in shelters or safe places during air raid alerts.
The report emphasizes that even drones shot down or suppressed by electronic warfare (EW) means can pose a danger due to the risk of falling debris or detonation.
